Lech Poznan prepares for Champions League

Lech Poznan is intensively preparing for the upcoming season, where they will compete in the Champions League qualifying rounds. Polish champions will start their fight for advancement from the two-legged match against Danish Aarhus GF. The match dates are already known. The first match will take place on Randers Stadion on Tuesday, July 21, at 19:00. The return match will take place eight days later, also at 19:00.

Preparations for Champions League

Lech Poznan will start preparations for the Champions League from the training camp in Wronki, which will start on June 29 and last until July 11. During this time, Lech Poznan will play two friendly matches. First, on July 4, the Polish champions will face FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova. A week later, on July 11, their opponent will be Bohemians 1905 Praga, the tenth team of the previous season's Czech league.

Transfer activity

In connection with the preparations for the Champions League, Lech Poznan has already made four transfers before the start of the new season. First, they bought Luis Palmę for 4 million euros, then they acquired Mateusz Lisa, who will eventually replace Bartosz Mrozka as the goalkeeper. In the last few days, the team of coach Niels Frederiksen also joined Allahyar Sayyadmanesh and Terry Yegbe. Lech Poznan plans to make two more transfers – a left-back and a central midfielder.

Lech Poznan is currently in first place in the Ekstraklasa, having earned 60 points in 34 matches. In the last match against Wisła Plock, they drew 2:2. In the last five matches, Lech Poznan has not lost, winning two and drawing three.
