Lech Poznan is preparing for another major transfer. One of the candidates is Gustav Berggren, who played in Ekstraklasa for three years and won the Polish championship with Rakow Częstochowa.
Gustav Berggren is a Swedish footballer who played in Ekstraklasa for three years and made 83 appearances. Last year, he moved to MLS, but he cannot count on regular play there.
Lech Poznan is interested in Berggren because they need reinforcements in the midfield. Berggren could give Lech Poznan high quality in the midfield, effective pressing, and also intercepting passes.
The chances of Berggren's transfer are uncertain. The most likely option is a loan. Lech Poznan will have to dig deeper into their pockets to acquire Berggren, as he still has a valid contract with New York Red Bull.
