Lech Poznan recorded a commanding 5-1 victory over Radomiak Radom in Sunday's Ekstraklasa matchday nine fixture. After conceding an early goal, N. Frederiksen's side dominated the contest, scoring five unanswered times.
Guilherme Luiz opened the scoring for Radomiak in the 1st minute following an assist from Romário Baró. Lech responded immediately. Pablo Rodriguez Delgado equalised in the 3rd minute from Joel Pereira's pass. Six minutes later, Patrick Walemark put the hosts ahead.
Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, who now has four goals in seven appearances this season, extended the lead to 4-1 in the 41st minute after a setup from Mikael Ishak. After the break, Walemark netted his second in the 51st minute, and Rodriguez sealed the result in the 67th, this time assisted by Walemark.
Lech Poznan controlled the flow of the game, enjoying 62% possession and taking 26 shots, with nine on target. Radomiak managed 12 attempts. Manager Frederiksen made second-half substitutions, bringing on Luis Palma, Y. Agnero, Daniel Håkans and Leo Bengtsson among others.
The win keeps Lech in 4th place in the Ekstraklasa table with 16 points from seven matches. It is a vital response following the midweek defeat to Crystal Palace. The team's recent form across all competitions shows three wins, one draw, and one loss from their last five matches. Their next challenge is an away fixture against Slask Wrocław on October 10th.
