Lech Poznań have officially terminated the contract of striker Bryan Fiabema. The Norwegian player, who joined Poznań in 2023, has signed a four-year deal with Fredrikstad FK.
The club confirmed the permanent transfer in late August. Fiabema leaves Kolejorz one year before his contract was due to expire. Over three seasons with Lech, he made 48 appearances, totalling 1300 minutes on the pitch. He started only nine matches in the first eleven.
Contribution to the title season
The forward joined the team ahead of the first championship season under Niels Frederiksen. In the autumn round of the previous campaign, he scored two goals. His strikes helped Lech defeat Widzew Łódź and GKS Katowice, earning the team four extra points. "Bryan, thank you for playing for Lech and we wish you success in your further career," the club wrote in an official statement.
Fiabema spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Dutch side ADO Den Haag. He helped the team return to the Eredivisie after five years, playing 16 matches and scoring four goals. At his new club, Fredrikstad, he will have the chance to play alongside Pole Jakub Jezierski, who joined on a one-year loan from Sigma Olomouc.
Lech Poznań are still shaping their squad for the challenges ahead. This season's squad status can be checked on our squad page. The club is preparing for upcoming matches, with the full schedule available in the fixtures section.
Lech's next match is scheduled for this weekend in the Ekstraklasa.
