Lech won two of its three summer ties, marking a return to the Europa League after six years. Its last appearance was in the 2020/2021 season, where it earned 3 points in a group with Standard Liège, Rangers, and Benfica Lisbon.

Lech Poznań's club coefficient for the ongoing 2026/2027 season stands at 27,250 points. This results from earning 2,500 points for the league title and an additional 500 for Europa League qualification in August. The point allocation rules in the new format are clear. In the Europa League league phase, as in the Conference League, the first win or the first two draws do not award points. To earn more than the guaranteed 3,000 points for participation, Lech must achieve a better record. A win in the league phase is worth 2,000 points, a draw 1,000.
