Mrozek at the center of negotiations

Bartosz Mrozek, the former “number one” at Lech Poznań, announced between seasons that he wants to leave and try his hand in a foreign league. The lack of a satisfactory offer for almost the entire summer kept Mrozek in Lech, but only as a backup.

Potential move to Udinese

According to Meczyki.pl, Mrozek is close to a move to Udinese Calcio. Negotiations are underway between the clubs, and the contract will include a buy‑out clause for the Polish goalkeeper. Udinese’s coach, Kosta Runjaić, known from his work in Poland, is already at the helm of the Italian side.

Statistics and achievements

Mrozek has played 134 matches in the Ekstraklasa. He won three Polish championships with Lech, though in the 2021/22 season he had a limited role (two matches at the end of the campaign). In the past two years he has been the main goalkeeper for “Kolejorz” and one of the top players in his position in the league.

Current context at Udinese

Udinese started the 2026/27 Serie A season with a 1:1 draw against Como at home. The team’s main goalkeeper is Nigerian international Maduka Okoye.
