Lech Poznań is providing free tickets for referees ahead of the league match against Korona Kielce. The announcement was made by the Wielkopolska Football Association's Referees' Committee on Friday, 12 October.

The Wielkopolska ZPN Referees' Committee stated that its members can apply for free tickets for Lech's match in Poznań until 13 October 2026 - until 12:30. Applications should be sent to Mark Czajkowski at the association's office. The email subject must include the team names, and the body must contain the referee's name, surname, PESEL number, and zone affiliation.

Ticket allocation criteria

Priority for receiving a ticket is given to referees holding a license for the 2026/27 season. The Committee also considers active assistance in organising training sessions, exams, and other refereeing events. Timely payment of the KFP and KFD fees for 2026 is important. Additional points will be awarded to referees not assigned to other matches on that day and those who passed the autumn 2026 exams.

Once the application is approved, the club will automatically add the tickets to the referee's account in its ticketing system. Referees must create an account there in advance to collect the passes. The entire procedure aims to reward and appreciate the work of referees from the region.

Lech's league context

The initiative comes before an important match in the title race context. Lech Poznań currently sits 2nd in the Ekstraklasa table with 22 points from nine games. John van den Brom's team is three points behind leaders Gornik Zabrze. In their last match, Lech won 4-1 away at Slask Wroclaw, having previously drawn 2-2 with Energie Cottbus.

Lech's next opponent is Korona Kielce, who are in 8th place. The match will be played on Saturday, 17 October, at the stadium on Bułgarska Street. In the last head-to-head meeting on 22 February this year, Lech won 2-1 away. This season's squad and player statistics for Kolejorz are available in the squad section.

For Lech Poznań, this is a chance to maintain pressure on the leading Gornik. The team is coming off a successful performance in Wroclaw, where goals were scored by Filip Jagiello, Pedro Rodriguez, and a Patrik Wålemark brace. With 21 goals scored, Lech has the second-best attack in the league. The match against Korona opens a series of home games that could decide the club's autumn position. Injury status and player availability ahead of this match are continuously updated in our injuries section.

The Referees' Committee emphasises that the number of tickets is limited, and allocation decisions will be made immediately after the application deadline. Referees who meet all the criteria will receive email confirmation within a few hours.
